Family Vacation- Day Three

Today (Sunday Nov. 23rd) we headed to Rancho Cucamonga, California. Again, the kids both had their DVD's going and it was a pretty quiet ride again. I'm not sure how we all did it as kids when we were going on vacation without the DVD players in the car. Maybe that's why my mom and dad alway left really late at night so that we would all sleep... or they gave us a little something to help us sleep :)

Anyways.... the day was pretty much spent in the car driving. We did make a few stops on the way to break up the drive and keep the kids happy.

We got Kailey a map so she could follow along the way of where we were going. This helped with that famous question of "How much longer before we get there?" or "Are we there yet?"
Kayden was pretty happy the whole time with his blanket, binky and Wiggles DVD. And Bruce actually had a smile on his face while driving :) Things were going pretty well!

That night we got to Bruce's little Brother Brian's house. The kids were so excited to see eachother and we were excited to see Brian and Lisa. We usually only see them once a year during Christmas time, so this was pretty exciting to see them early this year.

Kayden was extra excited to be out of his carseat and actually be playing with toys! Brian and Lisa have 6 kids (5 boys and 1 girl) so we didn't need to bring toys at all. We actually got a ton of idea for Christmas for Kayden too!
Kayden LOVED this train table... we have added it to Kayden's wish list from Santa this year :) He's been such a good boy that I think he might just get it :)
Kayden's other favorite thing was the stairs

Kailey was extremely excited to see her cousins, and they seemed excited to see her tooWe had dinner and then Brian had a ward fireside at their house so we went to the outdoor mall close to their house to see the lights and the fake snow falling that they have at night. It is the best mall ever! We love going there!

We took lots of pictures of us in front of the big Christmas tree they have.

walking down the streets. They were playing Christmas music outside

On our drive back to Brian and Lisa's house, my car hit the big 100,000 mark!
