Today was kind of a hard day. We all gathered up at Grandma and Grandpa Merrill's house for dinner and for the guys to give Grandma a blessing for her upcoming surgery. We found out this past Friday that she has cancer and will need to have a pretty serious surgery to have it taken care of. I'm still having a hard time accepting that she will need this. She has always been in such great shape and has always been very active, so I was very shocked to hear something was actually wrong.
It was a really great day seeing everyone and spending time with eachother but it was hard knowing that soon Grandma will be having a rough few weeks recovering from her surgery. I hate when people I care about have to go through something so horrible. We all know that she will be ok, but it still hard.
