Presents and Playing

After showering him down from the cake we opened presents and played with toys. It was a great day and everyone seemed to have alot of fun! We really loved that everyone came to help us celebrate such a special day!

Yummy, yummy cake!!!

Kayden had his own little chocolate cake all for himself. He started off a little slow so I thought he was going to freak out like he did with the cupcakes but he ended up liking it quite a bit... as you can see.Cousin Corey helped feed him some of the cake so he could actually taste it.

He was a mess when he finally got done with it! This is how he left the cake.

Kayden's 1st Birthday Party

Pictures of some of the people that came to help celebrate Kayden birthday with us. We had homemade lasagna, galic bread and salad for lunch. We had alot of fun and great food!

Kayden didn't like the hat too much, but Garrett didn't really seem to care that he had it on :)
The theme of Kayden's party was Winnie the Pooh and friends. This is his cake. We ended up cutting it without him since he was asleep.

Kayden's 1st Birthday Party

Things started off a little rockie today... Kayden was a little sleepy and he wasn't in the mood to deal with anyone and anything when everyone got here for his party. We ended up putting him down to sleep for a bit, he woke up about the time everyone was getting ready to leave.

Happy 1st Birthday Kayden!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Kayden! Kayden turned 1 year old today! We sang Happy Birthday to him this morning when he woke up, and he looked at us like we were crazy! It has been a fun year with him! He is a very happy baby and we love him so much!

I bought cupcakes for him today, since we will be having cake on Saturday at his birthday party. He wasn't too crazy about the feel of the frosting on his hands. He started screaming so we had to wipe it off.He did think it tasted pretty good though... His birthday party should be very interesting to see how he does with his cake. I got him his very own chocolate cake. Yummy!

Parent-Teacher Conference

Today we had a parent teacher conference with Kailey and her teacher Mrs Moore. Kailey is doing awesome! Her teacher said she is doing awesome and that right now she is being graded above the 1st grade level which is really great! The only thing she needs to work on it speaking up in class and participating in the class discusion. I'm afraid I can't help with that one. She is exactly like me in that way. Every one that knows me, knows that I hate attention brought to me.... Kailey is alot like me in that way :) Oh well, if that's the worst she is doing, i'll take it!

Kayden's 1st Birthday Invitation

This is Kayden's birthday invite I did for him this year, I thought they turned out really cute! It makes me so sad to see how little he used to be, this year has just flown by so fast!
